Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
VektusPro is a goal planner for iPhone. It turns a goal and a deadline into a daily target, and it tracks your progress, your time and your focus sessions.
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the VektusPro app and the website www.vektuspro.com.
In short: your goals, progress, notes and sessions stay on your iPhone. There is no account and no server. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or AI. Purchases are handled by Apple. The website sets no cookies and uses only our host's server statistics; if you join the waitlist, we keep only your email address to tell you when the app launches.
1. Who we are
VektusPro is published by Nikolaos Gioftsos, Greece. Email: support@vektuspro.com. More details are in the legal notice.
For the personal data we do handle (sections 4 and 5), we are the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What stays on your device
Everything you create in VektusPro is stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage:
- your goals, targets, deadlines and plans
- your logged progress and notes
- timer and focus sessions, and activities
- your settings and preferences
We never receive this information. It is not sent to us or to any server we control. We cannot see it, sell it or share it. On the App Store, the app's privacy label is Data Not Collected.
Because your data lives on your device:
- If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it, unless it is included in your own iPhone or iCloud backup, which Apple manages under your Apple Account. VektusPro 1.0 does not sync between devices.
- To keep a copy, use Export (Settings → Your data, a Pro feature). Export creates CSV and JSON files that you hand to the iOS share sheet yourself. Where they go is your choice, and the temporary files are deleted afterwards.
- To delete everything at any time, use Settings → Your data → Delete all my data. The "VektusPro" calendar stays in the Calendar app until you delete it there.
3. Permissions the app asks for
VektusPro asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it. Every feature keeps working, in a reduced form, if you say no. You can change any permission later in the iPhone Settings app.
Calendars (optional, Pro)
- Full access: the app reads when your events start and end, on your device, only to find free time, so it does not book work on top of a meeting. Event titles and other details are never stored.
- Write-only access: the app adds its plan blocks without reading your other events.
- In both cases, the app writes only to a calendar it creates, named "VektusPro". It never changes or deletes an event it did not create.
- Your calendar data is not sent to us. If your calendars sync through a provider such as iCloud, Google or Exchange, that sync is between you and that provider.
Notifications (optional)
- Reminders and focus-timer alerts are scheduled locally on your iPhone.
- No push server is involved, and we do not know when or whether they fire.
Alarms (optional, iOS 26 and later)
- If you choose "Ring like an alarm", the end of a focus block or break is scheduled with Apple's alarm system on your device.
Live Activities
- A running timer can appear on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and on devices that iOS mirrors it to, such as a paired Apple Watch or Mac.
- This is handled by iOS on your devices. It does not pass through us.
4. Personal data we do handle
Purchases
- Subscriptions and one-time purchases are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details. We never see your card or your Apple Account details.
- The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device, to unlock Pro features.
- Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
App Store statistics and crash reports
- Apple shares aggregated statistics with us, such as downloads and sales by country.
- If you have chosen in iOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also send us anonymous usage data and crash reports.
- These do not identify you, and you control this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Email support
- If you write to support@vektuspro.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Purpose and legal basis: we use it only to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in responding to requests you send us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or to take steps you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Retention: we keep this correspondence for as long as needed to help you, and for no more than 24 months after the conversation ends, unless the law requires longer.
- Email provider: our email is hosted by Apple (iCloud Mail), which processes these messages on our behalf.
Content you choose to share
- If you use Share progress, the app creates an image of your goal's progress on your device, and you pass it to the app or person you choose.
- The image contains the goal's title and how far along it is, the other details you left switched on (amounts, streak, deadline), and the VektusPro name and web address. It never includes your notes.
- Once you share it, the recipient's service handles it under its own terms.
5. The website (www.vektuspro.com)
- No cookies, no tracking code: the website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
- Hosting and server logs: our hosting provider, Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus), automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure (legal basis: our legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept for a short period, as set by the hosting provider.
- Visitor statistics: we use the Analytics section of our hosting provider's control panel (Hostinger hPanel) to see how the website is used, for example the number of requests, the pages visited, and visitors' countries and device types. These statistics come from the server logs described above. No cookies, scripts or tracking code are added to the website for this, and we do not use them to identify, profile or follow individual visitors (legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). This applies to the website only; the app collects no data.
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up, only to send you one email when VektusPro is available (legal basis: your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). The list is stored on our web hosting, outside the public part of the site, and is shared with no one. We delete it 30 days after the launch email. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@vektuspro.com, and we will remove your address.
- If this changes, for example if we add another analytics tool, we will update this section before the change takes effect, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside the EU
We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area ourselves. Apple, as the provider of the App Store and of our email, may process data in other countries, including the United States, under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. What we never do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app contains no advertising.
- We do not include third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software in the app.
- We do not use AI on your data.
- We do not ask you to create an account.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- erase it
- restrict its processing
- object to its processing
- receive a copy of it (portability)
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (the waitlist)
To use any of these rights, email support@vektuspro.com. We will reply within one month.
Most of your information never reaches us. For data stored in the app, you already have full control: you can see it, export it and delete it yourself.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), 1–3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can contact the authority in your own country.
9. Children
VektusPro is a general productivity app and is not directed at children. The app collects no personal data from anyone. The waitlist is for people aged 15 or over (Greek Law 4624/2019, Art. 21). If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
- App data is protected by your iPhone's own security, including passcode, Face ID and encryption.
- Emails you send us are stored with our email provider, which uses industry-standard security.
- Keep your data safe by protecting your device with a passcode, and by using Export if you want a copy of your data outside the phone.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how VektusPro handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. If we ever start collecting data that leaves your device (for example, an optional sync feature), we will explain it here and in the app before it takes effect.
